The child bubbling over with dreams and 

curiosity from in her salad days

Upon turning twenty, 

set off on a journey around the globe,

 cramming her bulky satchel with her curiosity  

that grew even further

Although the language used differed, 

We could communicate and talk

through mutual understanding. 

The bashful girl weighed over

how to impart her feeling of appreciation to her buddies 

to whom she was grateful and who had been a shoulder 

to rely on from a distant foreign land.

After a long and hard thoughts,

  as the most special gift the lass hit upon Hangeul, 

the language she spoke.  

And infused flowers 

 with their respective floral meanings into Hangeul. 

Implies cherished thoughts in Hangeul and flowers.   

“What thoughts are you seeking after?”
